Challenge: World’s leading computer hardware company wanted to develop a Global Talent Map for various domains.

Solution:

Zinnov utilized more than five years of research to build a Global Talent Pool model across various domains, including IT Services, BPO, Product Development Hardware, Product Development Software, Technical Support and Executive Leadership. In addition, to meet this client’s unique needs, Zinnov built a web-enabled database to store all pertinent information to run and analyze future location and talent scenarios.

Challenge: World's #1 communication holding company wanted to build a 3-year workforce strategy incorporating employee data, retirement trends, actuarial trends, workforce supply trends, demand trends, global location trends and other critical elements pertaining to the workforce. The client evaluated multiple solutions and selected Zinnov as we proposed the most comprehensive solution customized to their needs.

Solution:

Zinnov developed a comprehensive analytical solution integrating financial plans, HR plans, employee data that enabled the client to run multiple scenarios to assess a 3 to 5 year supply/demand gap. Zinnov also worked with the client to provide multiple gap optimization solutions.

Impact:

Our solution resulted in identifying multi-million dollar savings opportunities through our gap optimization models. This helped our client assemble a structured process around strategic HR planning. In addition, the modeling framework we introduced helped our client run several scenarios for board room evaluation, creating a powerful connection between the company’s HR department and the company’s bottom line.

Challenge: World's leading computer hardware company wanted to evaluate the impact of implementing Flexible Work Solutions in their environment.

Solution:

Zinnov approached this problem very differently compared to other consulting providers in this space. We first conducted a thorough research of various Flexible Work Solution components and the associated cost benefits as reported by various organizations. For example we studied the financial, environmental and social impact of flex time, part-time, remote work, and designed an analytical solution that enabled our client to assess the types of benefits – financial, environmental and societal – they would receive by deploying each of the Flexible Work Solutions.

Key Results:

  • $0.8 million savings for every 1000 employees in Flexible Work.
  • $1.0 million savings due to reduced recruitment costs for every 1000 employees in flexible work.
  • $0.6 million savings due to reduced sick leave per 1000 employees.
  • Our war gaming evaluation scenarios enabled our client to understand the best and most financially sound way to deploy the right solutions for their environment.
