We, through our profound experience in the industry and several engagements with Indian R&D center stalwarts, realized the need of a product offering that would help India centers improve productivity, drive innovation and optimize operations.

The “R&D Innovation Council” aims to bring senior managers from R&D centers together to brainstorm on the top challenges and exchange best practices around peculiar issues confronting them. Through this council, a member company can gain a variety of services that would help them benefit in their everyday decision making. Services are tailored to address issues around operations cost management, productivity, innovation, talent sourcing, vendor partnerships, organization structuring and peer networking.

Benefits of membership
As a member of the council, companies will have access to various case studies, best practice research and tools necessary to optimize and improve performance of their India development center. A very R&D focused research, our expert analysis and interaction with peers in the numerous events hosted by us, will allow members to adopt and leverage some practices to march ahead.

Operating Cost Modeler
Managing the operating costs effectively is vital for an India Center and is a prerequisite to innovate. The operating cost modeler is a unique tool which would help companies to calculate their operating costs on a quarterly basis and also make future estimations. The tool also facilitates the benchmarking of operating costs of a company versus the industry baseline. It can be used to run different scenarios based on the best practices for optimizing operating costs.

Maturity Curve
The Maturity Model is a tool which can assess the maturity of an India center. It is an assessment framework, not a performance evaluation for the center. A center is divided into levels and maturity is defined at each level depending on various parameters like the ‘Functional Roles’ a center performs or the ‘Level of Autonomy’ it has. The tool further measures the capability of the center and suggests which level of maturity it is capable to run at versus the one it is currently running at, thereby motivating the companies to realize their potential and draw maximum value out of their centers.
