Methodology

An in-depth analysis of the portfolio is carried out by considering parameters which are specific to the need of our client. A comprehensive study of the following complexities that could be involved with it are studied.

Customer complexity
Example: If a product brings in majority of the revenue to the company, complexity of the transitioning the product will be higher.

Resource complexity
Example: If the people required for the project are easily available in India, then the complexity would be lower.

Process complexity
Example: If knowledge transfer for the project is complex and it would then involve long business trips, which would increase the process complexity.

Technology complexity
Example: If the product is old with its architecture been changed a number of times, it would definitely lead to complexity in technology.

Infrastructure complexity
Example: If the product requires a large and expensive server lab, then the hardware/software complexity is high and will increase the infrastructure complexity.
